The love for "Nails" has always been a big part of my life. As a little girl my favorite place to go was not the ice cream parlor but my local nail salon. Being a young girl surrounded by three brothers this was my chance to get out and be pampered with my mom.

For years, I unsuccessfully wandered from place to place praying for a positive nail salon experience in San Clemente. One day I finally came to the realization that there was an opportunity for a spa-like salon experience at affordable prices.

It was perfect timing for me with the birth of my son Wyatt and desire for a transition away from corporate life. I convinced my brother, also a San Clemente resident, that there was a tremendous opportunity with a little elbow grease and the right concept. After a lot of planning and late nights Ocean View Nails was born and opened in April 2011.

We did a large amount of market research with friends and family prior to opening the business. After analyzing the research there were consistently reoccurring themes that served as the core principles with which we created the concept for the store. I wanted to share these with you:

• Clean & Sanitary. The cleanliness of the store and the institution of proper processes and procedures is a requirement and is our number one priority. Please refer to the Services page for more details.

• Atmosphere. Create a calming environment of soothing colors, aromas, and music for guests to relax and escape from the rigors of everyday life – if only for an hour.

• The People. All nail technicians are licensed with years of experience and are able to communicate with you to ensure your experience is pleasant and enjoyable – translation……we speak English.

• Affordability. Ensure the experience is affordable for the average customer.

• Give Back. One of our core charters is to give back to the local community through fundraisers, raffles, and sponsorships. We've been active early and don't even have any money yet ☺
